SEO COORDINATOR

CJ is a musician, husband, and cat dad with an inquisitive spirit. His ever-expanding interests and drive to chase his passions has led him to explore life on stage and in several marketing roles as a young professional.

A St. Charles native, CJ moved to Columbia to pursue degrees in music and journalism. After graduating, he found himself working on digital ads for St. Louis music venues and playing trumpet and synth in a local band. In order to balance both his musical and marketing pursuits, he continued to build on his freelance experience, handling copywriting, SEO, and digital ad management for several clients – from small businesses to government agencies.

CJ’s love for video games throughout childhood (and beyond) instilled in him an appreciation for storytelling and strategic thinking. His favorite aspect of working in marketing is finding the sweet spot where strategy & content work together perfectly. Whether he’s building ad campaigns or tweaking SEO targeting, CJ enjoys finding new ways to help businesses synthesize their story, personality, and goals into a cohesive strategy.

When he’s not glued to his work screen, you can probably find him logged into Playstation, taking coffee-making way too seriously, or making jazz and bleep-bloop music with his buddies.
