Garrett Curry

Gaffer & Grip

Garrett comes from Crocker, Missouri – a small town in the heart of the state – where his love for music and creativity took shape as a result of scarce inspiration and lack of oppourtunity. After attending the Waynesville Career Center for video production from 2018–2019, he spent several years saving and honing his craft before officially launching his own freelance business in July of 2021.

A natural creative from the start, Garrett has poured himself into multiple outlets over the years – from music and graphic design to film and studio work. Today, he is the lead singer of the hard rock band Hang Your Hate, a group that tours regularly and continues to release new music. Alongside his work in music, Garrett serves as a freelance partner with The Evoke Group, taking on the role of gaffer/grip and lending his versatile skills to a variety of creative productions.

When he’s not on stage or on set, Garrett can be found writing songs, recording in the studio, refining his design work, or getting lost in an emotionally heavy drama film. Whether through music, visuals, or storytelling, his drive remains the same: to create with authenticity and impact.
