StorageMart is a chain of self-storage facilities headquartered in Columbia, Missouri that operates across the USA, Canada, and the UK. Founded in 1999, StorageMart has produced steady growth and operates 200+ locations worldwide. StorageMart requested our expertise with a new foundational video campaign – to reach across the many demographics of their customers and pull a fresh, singular storyline that almost anyone could relate to. With this case, we worked as the messaging & creative production arm of the campaign – as such, we always measure the quality of our work by the campaign performance data. As these campaigns rolled out, StorageMart was ecstatic with the performance metrics.

“The first campaign we launched with this ad was a branding campaign that reached 170,000 people. We paid $0.01/play thru on Facebook, with the average person watching 25 seconds of the 30-second video. Ad recall on that campaign was 24.81%. We were thrilled with the results.

What surprised us more was the video’s success as a lower-funnel ad. The 30-second video even outperformed its 6-second counterpart. It sees $0.28/click and $0.51/page view on Facebook, with other ads in the same campaign and ad set averaging $0.38/click and $0.61/page view.”

Goals & Challenges

With this campaign, we were challenged to create an original, yet relatable, campaign storyline that could stay relevant for years to come. At the same time, we had to take into account various demographics, distribution/placement types, as well as various countries and languages.
Alongside the website, we supported design and production of materials for trade shows and other print designs that were needed throughout the year. We created email marketing campaigns that cyclically marketed their various products and services. We also managed social media campaigns that echoed the other strategies for consistent messaging.
